Senior Baker

Join us in 2023! We are offering a full time position for a professional with a passion for producing the highest quality sourdough and pastry.
We have an opening for an experienced baker to join us in 2023.
You’ll be joining a bakery with a proven reputation for excellence and a strong sustainability ethos.
This is an opportunity to lead and hone your skills in a friendly environment.
We offer a competitive salary and a 4 day working week.
We have close relationships with our suppliers, sourcing our flour from a variety of independent farmers and millers.
We use predominantly organic and biodynamic ingredients, and we strive to produce the minimum of waste, and maximise sustainability.
We are looking for a hospitality professional who is has the following skills and abilities
A strong understanding of sourdough baking, mixing and hand moulding
Experience with lamination and croissant making
A good understanding and experience with the natural fermentation process
At least 3 years experience working in a similar role
Motivation to grow and enhance skills
Have a positive and collaborative attitude
Be well organised, self-motivated and have an ability to work independently and within a small team.
Our typical start time is 5 am so access to transport or living locally is necessary.

We’re looking for a front of house champion to join us. We are looking for a friendly all rounder with strong coffee making skills able to run a busy service on the machine, take care of the customers when manning the counter and have a love of baked goods!
